Welcome to the file encryption/decryption tool. A couple quick points.

• The page you’ll connect to is not HTTPS.
  THIS DOES NOT MATTER. See below
• All file encryption/decryption occurs offline.
  NO DATA IS SENT TO SERVER.
  (Thus not needing an https connection. The tool loads to your computer.)
• No software installation is required to encrypt or decrypt files.
  • However you must use the same tool to encrypt AND decrypt the files.
• Files cannot be decrypted without key or password set for the file. NO RECOVERY.
• File size limitations are usually around 1GB. Dependent on browser. 
  • ​​​​​​​Strongly suggest not going above 1GB as recipient may hit the 1GB or other limit.
• ​​​​​​​You may get a warning about unsafe file type. You'll want to download anyways. (Typically encrypted files end in .enc)
• ​​​​​​​See About page for additional info. There are additional technical details.
• This may not be best for every day file use (IE frequent editing and re-encrypting of files).

Instructions (also on next page):

1. Click to encrypt or decrypt.
2. Choose File, click Next.
3. Input password/key, click Next
4. Click Encrypt/Decrypt button.
5. Click Download file and save to location
   1. Again, no files are sent to the server.
6. Repeat as needed.
